Condolence: My sympathy and condolences to all of Sam's family. I knew him as a friend and neighbor at Strathaven Village, since the late 1980's, and always enjoyed his quiet sense of humour. He truly was a gentle, gentleman.

Condolence: My father was a brilliant man who excelled at academics and his career as an engineer. I have many special memories of him, including at the end of his life, when we had the opportunity to spend time together, enjoying each other's company and having important conversations. I'm relieved that his suffering is over, but it's difficult to know he's no longer with us. An important part of our family is gone, and he will be dearly missed by his loved ones.

Condolence: Samarenda "Sam" was a very smart and great person. He loved to share his stories and teach you what he has learned over the years from his personal and work experiences. He loved his grandchildren and always wanted to make them happy. Thank you for being apart of our lives. We will never forget you. Rest in peace and we will meet again.

Condolence: He was my grandpa, but also my teacher. He taught me a lot about science when I was younger. I also loved playing chess with him. He could beat me in three turns, but he usually let the game go on for a while, even letting me take a turn back. He was smart, kind, and everything I could ask for in a grandpa. I am glad he can be at peace now after many years of suffering with Parkinson's, but he will be greatly missed by all those who were lucky enough to know him. Especially if they were lucky enough to know him as I did. Grandpa.

Condolence: He was such a awesome Grandpa, and I know that all of his grandchildren think that too. He always gave me tips for challenges that I might face, and even all the science facts he knew I would like. I love him, and know that he will always live on in our hearts.

Condolence: Sam was a great man and always treated me well. He's been supportive to our family through thick and thin, in the best of times and the worst of times. I'm going to miss him dearly, and never forget the lessons he patiently taught me over the many years we've been family. I'm a better person for having known you Samarendra, may you rest now and find peace
