Chandos Summer Memories

There are no words that can do justice to the loss of Greg. He left us far too early. I will remember him for his outgoing, affable spirit that drew people to him. His smile could light up a room and make you feel that much better for being in his presence.

I will never forget the fun we had on those summer canoe trips. He was an avid fisherman and would be the first to grab his rod when we made camp in search of that ever elusive monster bass.  And if there was bragging rights on the line you were in for a tough fight. Whether it was seeing who could cook up the best batch of campfire popcorn ‘using the ‘glove of hope’ or winning the annual Chandos Lake fishing derby he would avidly compete to the bitter end.  Even if he didn’t prevail (and he won his fair share) the boyish enthusiasm he brought to these events was contagious and made them so much more enjoyable and left you eagerly anticipating the rematch.

My deepest condolences to Linda, Bob, Katy, Jeff, Chris and his many friends. He will be dearly missed.
