Gregory Spring "Greg"
May 8th, 1984 - May 19th, 2018
Greg Spring passed away on Saturday, May 19th, 2018 at the age of 34. A Celebration of Greg's Life will be held at the Scandinavian Centre (739 20 Ave NW) on Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at 1:30 pm. Please wear casual attire. Speeches to start at 2:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Greg may be made to Lethbridge & Community Addictions Treatment Society (Box 1418, Lethbridge, AB T1J 4K2).
Greg loved people and made friends with anyone anywhere at any time. In return was loved by many.
He had an unmatchable charisma, a huge smile, and an even bigger heart. He lived and laughed often, in a way that many will never know.
Greg loved fishing, camping and wading through the tide pools on the west coast. His fire building enthusiasm often put us at risk. He was an avid collector of minerals, often dragging his family to Gemstone fairs across the country in particular the Bancroft Gemboree.
Greg’s proudest accomplishment was graduating from SAIT as a railway conductor and his subsequent 8 year career with CP Rail. It was here that Greg met his second family of railroaders, which brought him great joy and an endless supply of great stories and adventures.
Greg leaves funny, loving and timeless memories with his brothers Chris and Jeff, his sister Katy and his parents Linda and Bob. He will be missed but always remembered for his enthusiasm to live life in the largest way.
