The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Leslie Varadi can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

The lighting of a Memorial Candle not only provides a gesture of sympathy and support to the immediate family during their time of need but also provides the gift of extending the Book of Memories for future generations.

Sherisa, Broc, Emmarie and Silas Finkbiner

We wish we could be there with you, Aunt Diana, as you remember Uncle Les tomorrow. We will be with you in thought and spirit at least. Uncle Les showed remarkable resilience in the face of his severe health setbacks over the last many years. We have no doubt that he "hung on" as long as he did because he loved you and the rest of his family so very much! You will miss him ever so much. We hope you can find much comfort in the beautiful memories you made together. And there is such hope in the thought of a life to come where Uncle Les will be in perfect health, happy and back with his loved ones. I will always remember our short visit with you when Silas was one year old. Silas loved Uncle Les and it was neat to see how much Les enjoyed interacting with him too. Les was at a discouraging point in his life but still able to find joy in his interactions with us. He still had a "spark in his eye" - as I imagine he did until the end. It seemed to me that he was a man who knew how to be tough, but also knew how to be loving! We will remember him with fondness! Sending many hugs your way - and to the rest of the family as well - as you process this loss.
