Les Varadi passed away peacefully in his sleep on Sunday, April 30, 2017 after a well fought battle with kidney disease, diabetes and many related illnesses over nine years. Les is survived by Diana, his wife of 27 years; his daughter Dianne (John); son Michael; daughter Kim (Stuart); father-in-law Jack Grosnick; grandchildren Samantha, Jessica, Chaise and Kaitlin; brother Richard (Theresa); sisters-in-law Bonnie (Ivan) Lust, Gloria (Pastor Stan) Beerman and Myra Varadi; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Les was predeceased by his mother Ethel and father Leslie Varadi; mother-in-law Ella Jean Grosnick; and brother Gerry Varadi.

Les graduated from high school in Brantford, ON and then furthered his education in drilling. He worked as a motorhand in the drilling industry for 33 years primarily with Precision Drilling. Over his career, he won numerous safety awards.

Les' greatest enjoyment in life came from time spent with family and friends and his "Buddy". His other great joy came from a lifetime of fishing and camping with family and friends.

Les will be deeply missed and forever loved.

There will be a come and go tea at the family residence on Sunday, May 7, 2017 between 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm with a short memorial service at 2:30 pm.
