The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Michael Queenan can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

I met Michael when I was traveling around Europe in 1987. He opened up his Paris apartment to me whenever I was passing through. I ended up staying in Paris for the bulk of my trip because of Michaels generous spirit and infectious humour. He was so much fun to be around. We continued our friendship when he and Virginia moved to Toronto. I enjoyed listening to Michaels views of the world. We continued to talk after the family moved to Calgary, but the focus of our conversations became Erik and Marie. He was so proud of them! I am sad that we've lost such an interesting, caring, and unique spirit, and I will never forget his kindness and generosity.
