Stuart Kasperski

I just found out by chance today that we lost Michael last year. When I write "lost Michael", that is how I feel. The world is less of a place without him in it. I first met Michael back in Winnipeg at Harry Rosen when I bought my first suit for my University graduation. I walked into Harry Rosen thinking it was going to be too expensive for a Transcona born University graduate with no job at that time. As I walked in, I saw the most handsome and smiley guy ever. It was Michael. He was charming, cool and everything great a man could be. I purchased a $1000 suit from him when a $200 suit would have been fine, especially in the mid 90's. As time went on, I would occasionally see him and purchase things. After moving to Calgary I lost track of him and didn't even feel like checking out Harry Rosen in Calgary. A few years ago I just happened to pop into Harry Rosen in Chinook mall and to my surprise, Michael was there. We chatted for probably 30 minutes. Obviously I purchased some clothes, because who couldn't when they are being helped by Michael. Long story short, I want to pass on my condolences. I know I'm late, but I just found out from Can today. Hopefully his family and friends get a chance to see this, but in the end, they already know everything I've said about him. He was incredible and we were all better for knowing him. Thinking of him in heaven charming everyone and probably has quite a nice looking place up there and the best suit around. Stuart
