Obituary for Gary Joseph Kluserits

Gary Joseph Kluserits
Gary Kluserits
January 20, 1955 - Friday, February 23, 2018

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Gary Joseph Kluserits at the age of 63, on February 23, 2018 in Calgary, Alberta, at the Foothills Medical Center.

Gary was a father to many children along the way, as he spent the past 25 years as a foster parent. He was also passionate about his life long career as a Builder. He loved cooking, camping, card nights, vacations, time spent in his yard, playing pool and coaching his kids in sports. But nothing filled his heart more than time spent his wife and family.

Gary is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Pam; their children Jeff, Jenn (Aaron), Kim and Darren; his dog Mitu; his grandchildren Dillon and Mackenzie; great- grandchildren Kason and Jaya; his sisters Geri (Doug), Linda (Jack), Joanne, Lee (Roy), and Debbie (Ron); and countless nieces and nephews. Gary was predeceased by his parents Ione and Joseph Kluserits.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 3, 2018 at The Royal Canadian Legion Alberta NWT Command (138 Bowness Center NW, Calgary). In honor of Gary’s enthusiasm for the Calgary Flames, you are welcome to dress in your Flames attire as we join to celebrate his life. In lieu of flowers, we ask that you consider a donation to The Boys and Girls Club of Calgary (http://www.boysandgirlsclubsofcalgary.ca/take-action/give/donate-now/).
