August 30th, 1946 - January 28th, 2018

Ron, passed peacefully Sunday January 28th at 71. He was a loving husband to his wife Yvonne Mckay, A supportive caring father, loving grandfather and got the opportunity to be a great grandfather. He will be greatly missed by his children Ronald Jr, Cynthia (Nik)(James), Destiny (Jesse), Kelly (Darryl), Cindy (Troy), Carrie. His grand children Mitchell, Darren, Stephanie (Cj), Sayzar, Curtiss, Peter, Easton, Miracle, Jordon, Dakota, Samuel, Linden, Chassidy, Aiyana And his great grand children Jaden and Auron; as well as his brothers Doug and Lori.

He was born to Alex Birsten and Dorothy Clarke in Selkirk, Manitoba August 1946. His Biological father was Murray Mckay. Ron grew up with his brothers Marvin (Evelyn), Alex, David, Dennis, Dale, Hughie, Danny, Doug, Lori and his sisters Kay, Verna, Janice.

Ron always cracked jokes and had a passion for music and art. He was always very caring and loving to everyone he met, he sure lit up a room. He had no problems making new friends. He had many! Ron loved going to karaoke and spending time with his family and friends. His zest for life will be greatly missed by many and all that knew him.
