Calgary's Queen of Disco and Funk

All it takes is any of the fun memories that are running through my mind. to get me smiling and grinning...

Memories of Sharon's fun nature. instantly erases my sadness of hearing of my dear friend has passed on to her new journey and into the arms of Heavens family.

I was best man and M/C once upon a time and close friend. who enjoyed laughter, foolishness and Rampersaud. family festivities and the best original, Curry Chicken on the planet.... What the heck is wrong with me that I never kept up my visits to Monas' kitchen.....

one million stories { cause thats how Sharon was}. She was our ring leader and kept the party going and best of all for me. got us Funky white boys dancing.... Come on... this girl can Dance.... Sharon was the undisputed Queeen of the Disco Craze that took over Calgary ( was that the earliest of the 80''''''''s ??? ) We went out to every club and it was so cool just to be in Sharon's entourage... She was loved and looked up to.... total Rock Star....lol....

16 years living away from Calgary put some distance on being a part of  Sharons life with Mike and new family and me missing out on Curry at Burt and Monas' but true friendship doesn't need us to hang out to always know our friendship is an Always and Forever friendship and thats how it will continue....even as she moves away on us. this time.... Love to all her family and friends... God Bless us all and God get ready to Dance.... Amen
