Turkey Cook Offf and good times

After Doug had a heart attach he came to live with his good friend Bruce and me. We had a turkey cook off as I said mine would be better as I cooked my turkey upside where the white meat would be in the water. Well I walked the hall of shame as his was better than mine and of course we had a drink to that. Lol When I went to visit Doug at Cawston his mom Marie would always ask did Doug put clean sheets on the bed and fresh towels. I brought my dogs with me on those trips and I couldnt find my dogs. Doug would laugh and say I bet mom has them and yes I went into her house and she was feeding them. Received a call one Saturday morning and this voice said pack a bag and Ill be there in an hour to pick you and Bruce up and we are off to the states for a few days. Well off we went to their old stomping grounds of Idaho. We stopped at little bars along the way for a libation and once they heard we were from Canada they would bring out jello shooters and tell us what bar to go to next and tell the bar keeper George sent you and well free libations we drank. The few days we spent there was tons of fun and of course a little drunk. My friend I will miss you
