David Geekie passed away Friday, June 23, 2017. David is survived by the love of his life Pauline, son Clayton, daughters Heather (Kevin), and Michelle; grandchildren Emma, Heath, Evan, Sydney, Creed and Easton. He also leaves behind his sister Sheryll (John). He was predeceased by his father Alex and mother Josephine. David was born in Lynn Lake, Manitoba. His family moved to Calgary in 1957. David worked at CP Rail as a carman for 35 years. David will be remembered for his love of history, our adventurous family road trips, love of music and sense of humor. Memorial donations may be made in David’s name to the cancer society in lieu of flowers.

A Celebration of Life will be held in David’s memory at the Riverbend Community Hall (19 Rivervalley Drive SE) on Thursday, July 6, 2017 at1:00 pm for family and friends.
