The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Curtis McLean can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

brother curtis

my patner and i lived with curtis in a rooming house on 5th street here in calgary.curtis was like a brother to us.he was a good guy to be around on his good days.

we have so many memories and stories to share about curtis.we are devestated that we cannot come to winnipeg for his funneral.i even tried to get a loan from the bank so we could be there.didnot work.

we have had rthe privledge of trying to help curtis when he was having a bad day or personal struggle.we never judged him we tried so hard to help him,we saw his good days and his bad days,we took the time to be there for both events.

curtis always said if i ever get rich i,d give it to you and jim, when i die he said tell the family to give us any money left over that was his,we never wanted to hear that but he said it that way.

curtis loved the times when he needed help,we would help him

he also appreciated the times he wanted the firemans, ambulance, and police.he dialed 911 so many times we have lost count..

curtis talked alot about his family,i grew up in altona, manitoba  so we shared alot of our upbringing.he loved his mom and dadalot as well as his siblings.

we will miss curtis alot and were so devestated that we cannot be at the funneralif i had money i would of booked our flight there.already.......so we,ll just live the memories of curtis
