William (Bill) Owen Christopher Gleason passed away surrounded with love on Good Friday, April 19, 2019.
Bill is survived by his beloved wife Darlene Gleason; daughter Cherie (Scott) Harvey; daughter Michelle Gleason (Randall Krawec); grandchildren, Jaci and Jackson Harvey; sister Doreen (Gerry) Beech; sister-in-law Connie Marie (Jim) Riedlhuber; sister-in-law Alana (Mony) McClain. He was predeceased by his daughter Chantelle Gleason; his parents, Violet (Alec) Dawson and Owen Gleason; parents Mabel and Melford Korsberg.
Bill was most happy with his dogs by his side, with his music playing - or cheering on his many teams - and always invited a good debate with anyone that was up for it. He was intensely loyal and proud of his family, his work, and his country.
Bill will be missed by the many dear family and friends that shared in his life. The quality of the man we lost is known by the quality of the people who loved him.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at St. Peter’s Catholic Church (541 Silvergrove Drive N.W.) on Tuesday April 30, 2019 at 1:00 pm.
