Obituary for Tivadar Leslie "Tibby" Klein

Tivadar Leslie (Tibby) Klein
November 17, 1963 - March 11, 2019

It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Tivador (Tibby) Klein. He is survived by his sister Sheila Little; brothers Les (Norene) Coles, and Laszlo (Sue) Klein; niece Jessie (Duane) Charko; nephews Ryan Coles and Richard (Jessie) Klein; and great-nephew and niece Chase and Lyndsay Charko. Tibby was predeceased by his mother Laura Klein (2015); uncle Charles Moeller (2016), and father Laszlo (Les) Klein (2018).

Born in Calgary on November 17, 1963, Tib had a love for the outdoors and the mountains. An avid golfer and skier, dedicated Flames fan and true supporter of friends' sports endeavors like curling, he loved hockey and played until 2005. Alfred Hitchcock movies were one of Tibby's favorites to watch, and he fell in love with his cat White Paw, who adopted Tibby. He was always artistically inclined and wanted to pursue woodworking but never had the opportunity to do so.

Tibby struggled with mental health and addictions but is now reunited with his Mom and Dad, where he is no longer suffering or in pain. To sum up how his family is feeling: It's exhausting to fight a war inside your head every single day. If you so choose, donations in Tibby's memory can be made to addictions and mental health organizations.
