Patrick Colin McCormick, a veteran of the Korean war, passed away at the Colonel Belcher Veterans Care Facility on February 28, 2019 at the age of 84 years. Patrick is survived by his four children Patricia, Daniel, Lindamarie and Patrick.
Patrick Senior was well known at the Colonel Belcher and throughout his life to enjoy sharing a smoke and a story about his adventures near and far to anyone willing to sit and chat for awhile.
As per Patrick’s wishes, there will be no funeral service. A private family scattering of ashes is planned for a future date in the memorial garden at Queens Park Cemetery in Calgary where a plaque will be placed.
