Obituary for Kathleen Violet McKee (Denham)
Kathleen Violet McKee (Denham-Heisler).
October 4th, 1928 - Monday, February 18th, 2019
We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of our mother at Oilfields General Hospital, Black Diamond, Alberta.
Kathleen was so happy to celebrate her 90th birthday this past October with her many friends and family. In November she suffered a minor stroke. She worked hard over the last 3 months to regain her strength and mobility, and was making great progress. She so appreciated the doctors, nurses, therapists and staff at the Oilfields Hospital who worked with her and encouraged her in her recovery efforts. However her Lord called her home.
Kathleen is survived by her four children, Beverly Wagar (Brad), Brenda Butz (Ron Powchuk), Barbara Galger (Brian), and Clay Heisler (Laura); ten grandchildren, Richard Wagar, Alexis Crawford (Aaron), Patricia Fladeland, Chris Butz (Bryanna), Benjamin Galger, Brent Galger (Nancy), Aaron Galger (Courtney), Sean Heisler, James Snyder, Kim Snyder; nine great grandchildren, Brooklyn, Noah, Ayden, Riley, Kennedy, Lincoln, Memphys, Winnifred and Fergus; as well as many nieces and nephews. Kathleen also gathered many others into her family over the years.
Kathleen was predeceased by her parents, Louise Revell (Tetz-Denham) and Charles Denham; stepfather, George Revell; her sisters and their husbands, Laura and Earl Cochrane and Eileen and Jim Poirier.
A Memorial Service will be held May 17, 2019 at the Black Diamond Gospel Chapel.
