POWER - JEAN DAVREN
January 3rd, 1935 - February 15th, 2019
Mrs. Jean Power of Calgary, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 15, 2019, at the age of 84 years at Foothills Medical Centre in Calgary with her family at her side. Jean leaves to cherish her memory one son, Edward Christopher Power (Juanita) of Calgary; one grandson, Edward Christopher Power of Calgary; one sister Margaret Baker of Scotland; and one brother John Thomson of Powassan, Ontario. Jean was predeceased by her husband, Edward Christopher Power; her parents John and Mary Thomson of Scotland; 2 brothers, Peter and Robert and 2 sisters May and Anne.
Wee Jean and Big Eddie met and married in Glasgow Scotland in 1955 and moved to Canada in 1957. Jean started working as a sales clerk, eventually becoming a book keeper. She loved spending time with family and friends and was always the life of the party. Jean especially loved her grandson Edward Junior. Jean will be sorely missed by her family and friends.
The Funeral Service will be held at SAAMIS PRAIRIE VIEW CEMETERY (5160 Gershaw Drive SW, Medicine Hat, Alberta) on Saturday, March16, 2019 at 10:30 am.
