Edita Putlinca Brezovszky
November 30th, 1967 - February 13th, 2019
Edita Putlinca Brezovszky was born in Romania, on November 30, 1967. While attending university, she met the love of her life, soulmate, and best friend, Barna. In 1992 they married, and their much-loved daughter arrived two years later. In 1996, they immigrated to Canada, where she began a successful career as an accountant, and worked as a Controller for over thirteen years.
Her faith in Jesus was woven into the very fabric of who Edita was. Barna muses that his wife seemed to understand this Christian life in just loving everyone.
Edita loved to ski, enjoyed nature and hiking through God’s creation, as well as classical music, worship music, baking and crocheting. Most of all, she enjoyed her family and their weekends away in Radium.
On the morning of Wednesday, February 13th, with her beloved family at her bedside, Edita went home to her Lord in heaven.
Graveside Service will be held at Queen's Park Cemetery (3219-4th Street NE) on Wednesday, February 20, 2019 at 12:00 noon, followed by a Celebration of Life at Centre Street Church (3900-2nd Street NW) at 1:30 pm.
