Lyle Shupe
July 10th, 1960 - Tuesday, February 12th, 2019
It is with great sadness that the family of Lyle Randall Shupe announces his passing on Tuesday, February 12, 2019 at the age of 58 years.
He is survived by his wife, Christine Shupe (nee Probst); son, Ryan; brother, Dale Shupe(wife Brenda); sisters, Karen Harding, and Linda Shupe as well as nephews, Travis Shupe, Trevor Shupe (wife Kerri) and niece, Leandra as well as many other numerous nieces and nephews.
Lyle was predeceased by his father, Stanley Shupe and mother, Blanche.
Lyle was an adventurous, kind and loving person, who liked to be available to help others. He loved people, especially his family and friends.
He loved spending time with his family, he loved camping and new adventures. His passions were cooking and fly fishing.
Lyle grew up in Carstairs, Alberta and later moved to Banff, Alberta, where he had many fond childhood memories.
The birth of his son, Ryan, in 2010 was one of the happiest moments of his life as well as his marriage to his wife in 2013.
We would also like to thank all the Doctors and Nurses of Unit 47 at the Foothills Medical Centre for all their care and compassion as well as the Oncology team that worked with him.
Lyle will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
A Celebration of Lyle’s Life will be held at a later time to be announced. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Lyle’s memory to the Canadian Cancer Society.
