Carbno, Albert “George”
Albert (George) Carbno, son of Hilyard and Lilly (West) was born in Ontario on August 19,1934. He passed away on Monday, February 4, 2019 while battling cancer.
George married Marion (Dicks) in 1955, and they had four children.
George will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Marion; children, Barbra Williams (Calgary), Connie Carbno (Tennessee, USA) and Robert (Cheryl Keough) Carbno (Calgary); eight grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren. George was predeceased by daughter Rose Marie July 18th, 1965.
George had many talents which included sketching, painting, wood carving and teaching. Many of us who knew George shared a history lesson or two. George is leaving behind a legacy with many paintings and wood carvings all over the world. George truly enjoyed teaching people his craft the last few years.
