October 28th, 1932 - Saturday, September 1st, 2018
Ray Thomas Fowler, a devoted husband, dad, brother and grandfather passed away September 1, 2018 at the age of 85 years. Ray was predeceased by his wife Jill, of 60 years, six months prior. His heart was broken and his world forever changed in his love and loss of Jill. Ray loved to read, play cards and discuss world events, or any event, with great passion and resolve. Ray enjoyed a long career with Arpi’s Industries as a sheet metal worker. Ray also pursued his passion as a recreational pilot. He enjoyed taking his kids for flights around Calgary and also tried his hand at learning to fly helicopters. Ray will be honored by his children Keith (Sally) Fowler, Linda (Larry) Alexanderson, David Fowler (MaryAnn Streukens) and grandchildren Kyle Fowler, Robyn Fowler, Brendan Fowler and Ben Fowler. In accordance with Ray’s wishes there will be no funeral service. If people wish to do so, please donate to the Lung Association.
