MADIGAN, Muriel Challiner
September 5, 1929 – July 27, 2018

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Muriel Challiner (Fielding) Madigan on July 27, 2018, at the age of 88.

Muriel will be sadly missed but forever remembered by her brother David (Rossie); daughter Judy (Mike); son Glenn (Simone); grandchildren Derek, Ketrina, Keith, Carly, Kimberly, Katelyn, Brendan and Bradley; and great-granddaughters Everly and Sadie. She will also be lovingly remembered by her many nieces, nephews and friends throughout Quebec and Ontario.

Born and raised in Montreal, Muriel married her love Francis on April 14, 1951, and moved to Calgary in 1993 to be closer to their grandchildren. She had an infectious smile and was so proud of her grandchildren in everything they did. She was known as “Nanny” to all of their friends who now have memories of her many stories of Montreal.

Muriel is now with the love of her life Francis, affectionately known as Maddy, and they are among the rest of our wonderful angels.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Choice Memorial (105 - 4715 13 Street NE, Calgary) on Sunday, August 5, 2018 at 1:00 PM.
