Linda Tofsrud
October 16th, 1951 - April 11th, 2018
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Linda Tofsrud on Wednesday, April 11th, 2018 at the age of 66. Linda is survived by her four sons Troy (Jodi) Tofsrud, Ivan (Daphne) Tofsrud, Chris (Jannelle) Eddington and Dillon Eddington; five grandchildren Casey, Chris, Logan, Mikayla and Lillian; mother Clara Hopps; as well as numerous extended family members. Linda was predeceased by her father Tom Hopps.
Linda's family was very important to her and her grandchildren meant the world to her. She was her children's and grandchildren's biggest supporter and always encouraged them to do their best and to follow their passions. Linda was also very involved in her church, loved to sing in the church choir and took an active role in planning events and activities held within the church. Linda was also happily active in her work. She was often the first to arrive, last to leave and readily accepted new roles. Linda was a constant source of support, cheerfulness, love and compassion to her family, friends, co-workers and to anyone who was fortunate to cross paths with her. She had a generous heart and will be dearly missed.
A Celebration of Linda's Life is being planned at the Northeast Bible Church (175 Whitefield Dr NE) on Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at 11 a.m. with reception to follow. Flower donations may be sent directly to the Church (please contact Pastor John Fehr at (403) 818-8277, to arrange a delivery time).
