Patrick (Pat) Todd Cummings
May 7, 1962 – November 15, 2018

It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of Pat at the age of 56.

Pat was born in Iserlohn, Germany while his father was stationed there with 3RCHA Battalion of the Armed Forces. He lived with his family in Winnipeg, Calgary and Cold Lake before settling back in Calgary.
During his 24-year marriage to Wendy Carruthers, the family lived in Cranbrook and Lethbridge, returning home to Calgary for the last 15 years of his life.

Pat was a very kind, loving man who was especially proud of his two children Alberta and Conner.
Pat was always willing to help out where needed for his community and neighbours. He got much pleasure from coaching city baseball even after his son stopped playing the sport. There is not a sport that Pat himself did not try, but he was particularly passionate about hockey, football, skiing, darts and in the later part of his life took up kayaking with great zest.

He enjoyed many camping trips with his family and any events that involved water. One of his favourite pastimes was playing his drums.

Pat had a varied career, which always involved working with his hands as he was a jack of all trades. In his spare time he enjoyed tinkering and making something old functional again. This skill was a great source of pride to him.

Pat will be dearly missed by the many people who loved him: daughter Alberta; son Conner; sisters Bonnie Armand (Sandy), Tricia (Jay); brother Peter (Janet); numerous nieces and nephews, special companions and many great friends.

Pat was predeceased by his mother and father, Joyce and Dennis Cummings and his brother Kerry.
A private celebration of his life was held on November 20, 2018 at Choice Memorial.

In lieu of flowers if desired a donation may be made in his name to the Salvation Army.
