Gail Elizabeth Fraser (nee Gibson)
January 14th, 1951 - October 20th, 2018
Gail passed away on Saturday, October 20th, 2018 at the age of 67 years, after a battle with cancer. Gail was born in Bentley, Alberta January 14th, 1951.
Gail had a career in the oil and gas industry as an accountant with Ranger Oil Limited and Canadian Natural Resources. Gail also held the rank of Dame (DLJ – Dame of the Order of Saint Lazarus of Jerusalem) and was awarded the Officer of Merit (OMLJ) – Gail was a well-respected member in the Order serving as Secretary for several years.
Gail is survived by Robert Allan Fraser her loving husband of 45 years; brother Bob Gibson (Brigitte); twin brother Gary Gibson (Barbara); sister Patricia Linn (Doug); brother Donald Gibson (Isabelle); sister-in-laws Jen Frampton, Rhoda Hawkins, Effie Kuefeld (Otto), and Shirley Fraser; cousins Sharon and Marlene Watts, Eilleen Schwint (Keith), and Doug Gibson; as well as many wonderful nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father Robert Stuart Gibson and mother Verna May Gibson. A Celebration of Life in Calgary will be announced at a later date.
