Mildred (Millie) Page, age 92, passed away on November 13, 2018 at Chinook Care Centre and Hospice in Calgary. She was born on February 9, 1926 in Edmonton and she was one of eight children.
After high school Millie went to college to become a medical stenographer and after completing her education she worked at the General Hospital in Edmonton. Millie joined the Canadian Airforce 1950, and during her service she met Michael Page, who she married on May 14, 1955. After the Airforce, Millie worked for various hospitals, raised five boys and often cared for her grandchildren.
Left to honor Millie and remember her love is her husband of 63 years; sons Phillip (Cara), Michael, Robert (Patti), David (Sue), and Timothy (Ingrid); 5 grandchildren Nathan, Malia (Rob) Gray, Patrick, Mitchell, and Mackenzie; 2 great-grandchildren Emma and Natalie; and brother Steve (Jean) Bodnarchuk.
Millie will be remembered for the way she showed kindness through service to others, her ability to spread joy with her quick wit, and her enduring love for her family.
