Condolences & Tributes

We encourage you to share any memorable photos or stories about Elsie. All tributes placed on and purchased through this memorial website will remain on in perpetuity for future generations.

Don and Bev, I was so saddened to learn of the passing of your Mom. I was doing a 'search' for Don, my dear friend, who introduced me to a world of adventure, exploration and 'fun'. I have such fond memories of Elsie and Johnnie, including, but not limited to our times camping in the parks of northern Manitoba, chopping wood, snowmobiling, hunting deer, that big ol' red pick-up truck from the Texaco station. These are the best memories of my life. God bless you both. Don, thank you for Australia ... it made me who I am. Tom

Elsie was a wonderful light in the world. She was a great neighbour and I'll miss her. We used to chat as she'd walk along Elma with Blue and then drop in, so I did the same walking with my dog Penny. Elsie will be missed but certainly my memories of her will always be just like her - nice, fun and loving. Rest In Peace, Elsie.

We are so sorry to hear about the loss of your mother. Always looked forward to the visit when your mother came to have her hair done. She was such a positive person, excited about life, her next adventure, a puzzle to be put together, a quilt to sew, a flower bed to tend, a camping trip or cruise with her Bev or did she call you her 'Bevy'. She will be missed by many. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Bless You All!

Over 40 years ago, my wife and I moved into a small house in the Southeast part of Brandon, Mb. and met our new Neighbours - Johnny and Elsie Bachinski. We still live in that small house and their house is still located on the corner North of us. Not only were they the perfect neighbours, they became best of friends and we shared lots of laughs. They didn’t want our kids calling them Mr. and Mrs. and we wouldn’t allow our kids to call them by their first names. That’s when they became "Baba & Geegee" and our children refer to them by those names to this day. We were blessed to have them as friends and as neighbours and fond memouries will outlast the sadness of their passing. Our condolences to Bev, Don and extended families.

To Bev and Don and family,
Your Mom was a real treasure. She was full of life
and love and knew what made her happy: family!
She was so lucky to have all of you around and
so close for all those years! I really think she was
one of the cutest Gramma’s!
Celebrate her life, but I do understand the pain
of losing such a close family member and really
a very best friend!
Love and hugs to all.
Don ( and all of the Williamson’s)
