Condolences

Condolence From: Doug SImpson
Condolence: I can tell you that time has not made the loss of my brother and sister-in-law any easier. Each day there is something said by someone or something you read that serves as a reminder.

Condolence From: Sherry Archibald
Condolence: I just recently found out about Donny's passing. I had the opportunity to have lunch with Donny & a few fellow umpires Dec 2017. He was a trooper about his battle with disease that has taken too many too early. I came to know Donny through the Umpires Association. I am sure Donny & my late husband Archie have rounded up the boys & have found the Best ball games around !

Condolence From: Bernard
Condolence: On behalf of all the truck drivers, Condolences to Don's family and friends.
I met Don for the first time almost 18 years ago. He treated us drivers with respect and always understood what we had to go through to get the load delivered.
He had a kind word, a good morning and a give me your paperwork go get some sleep I will look after it.
And of course, if the Roughriders lost we would find out before the newspapers could print it.
He became a very good friend and made me feel part of his family.
Thank you, Don we will miss you.

Condolence: Don came into our lives while my son Dwayne was dating our now, beautiful daughter in law, Stephanie. The Simpson's quickly became a part of our special occasions. All of us had our special treats we contribute to the occasions. We knew each others likes and dislikes food wise and accommodated beautifully.
Don fought his cancer with his head held high and refused to allow it to get the better of him. His stubbornness and determination along with the love of his daughter and support of his son in law came together and supported his fight right up to his last breath.
On behalf of Don I would like to commend the Sereda family for all the efforts they made to make Dons final days some of his best of his life. Baillie Meadow and Keagan held Dons hand and gave him their competition every day that Don stayed with them. I know Papa is forever proud and so very thankful for having his wonderful Grandchildren in his life.
And Don I would like to say how very grateful I am for giving our Grandchildren memories that will be forever a part of their lives and the generation to fallow.
I vow to be here for your wonderful daughter and as long as I live keeping her very close to my heart.
I miss you but thanks for your memories.

Condolence From: Doug Simpson
Condolence: my brother put up a 2 year battle with cancer which he could not have done without the help and support from his beloved daughter Stephanie and dedicated son in law Dwayne. I cannot thank them enough for all they did including members of Dwayne's family. As for Don I cannot explain in terms how much I miss him already and it has only been a few days. We were separated by province but not in the heart. Rest in peace brother
