It is with great sadness that the family of Lyle Chester Lee announces his sudden passing on September 21, 2018 at the age of 67.
Lyle will be remembered as a man with a huge heart, who was not only unselfish but extremely generous. He was truly enigmatic, flamboyant, charismatic, personable and an unforgettable part of humanity . He was quite the businessman, golfer and the teller of tall tales. He will be sorely missed by family, friends and colleagues in the financial services industry as well as his business partner of 16 years, Richard Adler.
Lyle will be missed by his wife Karen Ho Fatt Lee, his sister Linda (Doug) Yamaura, and their daughter Lisa; his brothers Michael and Martin Lee; aunt April and uncle Ken; cousins Peter, Minerva, Cynthia, and David Lee; aunts Doe, Norah and Alice; Grandma, and in-laws Barbara and Ben.
Lyle will also be remembered by Karen’s family Claire and Philip Senior; Suyen and Anthony Grey; Diane Gardner-HoFatt; Nadine and Donovan Smellie and their children Morgan and Taylor; Debra (Max) Garcia and their children, Jordan, Juleah, and Joshua; and Phillip (Andrea) and their children, Jaydin, Ashlee, and Summer.
Lyle was predeceased by his father George S. Lee and his mother Margaret Lee (nee Low).
A Funeral Service will be held at Calgary Church of Christ (4030 Maryvale Drive NE) on Thursday, October 11, 2018 at 1:00 pm. In addition to flowers, donations may be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation
