It was a pleasure having known Joan for the time that I have. We weren’t close in proximity, but I felt we could always re-connect quickly when we came out West or vice-versa. I could not have asked for a better mother-in-law. She is one of the few people that had a contagious smile. Joan was a selfless person that everyone is better for having known. My sincere condolences to the immediate and extended family. She will be dearly missed by all.
