August 26th, 1940 - September 12th, 2018

Sharon Kruhlak passed away on Wednesday, September 12th, 2018 at the age of 78. Sharon will be forever loved and remembered by her loving husband Peter; children Mel (Marti) Smith, Sharlayne (John) Walcott, David (Maureen) Smith and Ben (Amanda) Kruhlak; grandchildren Robin, Lindsey, Melissa, Courtney, Josh, Jordan, Michael, Caleb, Jacob and Sam; great-grandchildren Etta and Peter.

Sharon was born in Edmonton and spent the first half of her life there. She moved to Calgary in 1979 where she lived until the time of her passing. Sharon was an avid reader who enjoyed discussing current affairs and politics. She was a great cook, in fact her lasagne was legendary. Sharon was very community minded and involved. She had a special place in her heart for the disabled and less fortunate and spent many years of her life working with them in various ways.

Sharon will be forever remembered as a very loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her. Sharon always remembered everyone’s birthdays and special occasions. She will remain in our hearts forever.

Memorial Service will be held at Choice Memorial (105-4715 13 Street NE) on Sunday, September 16, 2018 at 2:30 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Sharon may be made to the Mustard Seed (www.theseed.ca/donate).
