Billycool was a special friend
Who I have known for years on end
He was a poet of incredible skill
He could pen a verse almost at will
His tales were funny and serious too
And how to write he certainly knew
When you were feeling happy or sad
His literary juices were jotted down on a pad
Any occasion was recorded in print
On the computer or pen and ink
Know it is my fondest wish that we stay friends for ever
For just to know Billycool to me was such a pleasure
Oh the slings and outrageous arrows
Life it seems does have its sorrows
Why did you have to die
Before we had time to say goodbye
Friendship Is a gift you give
And in my heart is where you live.
