Condolence: Auntie Beth and my dear cousins and their families.
My thoughts and love to you.
When I was in Calgary in February, I had brought a Métis sash for Uncle Terry to wear, but the snowstorm got in the way with my plans!
Uncle Terry’s bannock was great that day (sorry Joni, he did win that one :)
I’ve asked my dad if he will wear his Métis sash for Uncle Terry at his service. It’s the black and red Batoche sash, in recognition of our Metis heritage, losses of our lands and identity in Red River and Batoche, and to celebrate the rebirth of our spirit and our Nation.

Rest in Peace Uncle Terry. We will miss you.
Love,
Maia
