On Friday, June 29, 2018, Brian Peter Young, husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle passed away at 64 years young. Brian was returning from holiday after visiting family and friends in Ontario when he experienced a massive stroke.

Brian will be missed by his wife and best friend Caroline Young; Son Chazz Young; three step-daughters; four step-grandchildren; his sister and brother Arlene and Doug; five nephews and one niece. He is proceeded in death by his father Arthur Young and His mother Ruby Young.

Brian was a Surveyor by trade and was proud of his many accomplishments, one being the Coquilhalla Highway. Brian met Caroline, the love of his life in the year 2000 and they have been inseparable ever since. They were married and began their life adventure which included their love for traveling and camping. Brian has a unique relationship with his son Chazz and expressed how proud he was of his accomplishments to anyone that would listen, he adored his niece and nephews and had a unique bond with each one. He was affectionately known to his grandchildren as PaPa Brian and he loved to show them B.C.

Brian’s humor, generosity, loyalty, love for children, and his big heart will be remembered by all that had the pleasure knowing him.
