Obituary for Michael Andrew "Mike" Noseworthy

Michael Andrew "Mike" Noseworthy
Noseworthy, Michael Andrew
November 18, 1954 – June 19, 2018

It is with sincere regret that Mike’s family announces his passing on Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at the age of 63. Never the one to seek attention or recognition, Mike is loved and remembered by his two brothers and seven sisters; countless nieces and nephews; great-nieces and nephews; beloved aunts and cousins: dear friends he made through work and along the way; and his beloved furry family, his "Ladies", Ali and Noir.

An amazing brother, unkles, friend and decent human being, Mike had so much talent and wisdom. He was a rare and special person, but not by conventional standards in that he had wealth or status, but rather his heart and soul were pure and his kindness second to none.

This demeanor, when exposed to the harsh conditions of a difficult childhood and a long battle with alcohol, created an unbearable pain and stress on Mike. Regrettably, he was never fully able to conquer his addiction and passed away as quietly and peacefully as he lived his life. His pain is gone. Ours will lessen with time.

Mike will be remembered with gratitude for the gifts he shared. In lieu of flowers, donations are gratefully accepted by 1835 House (1835 27 Ave SW, Calgary, AB T2T 1H2 or, https://recoveryacres.org/).
