Heather Sandra Jarvis (nee MacDonald)
September 15th, 1947 - June 21st, 2018
After a long, courageous battle with cancer, Heather passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Thursday, June 21, 2018 at the age of 70.
Heather is survived by her three children Trevor (Katie), Calvin, and Dawn (Lloyd); her granddaughter; her sister Diana; nieces Terryl and Cynthia; and numerous great nieces and nephews. Heather will be greatly missed and remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, aunt, sister and friend.
She was born in Lethbridge in 1947 and grew up in the Crowsnest Pass. After earning her RNA in Lethbridge, she worked in Calgary at the Holy Cross and Foothills hospitals. For the past 30 years she has worked as a residential real estate agent.
The family would like to thank all of the nurses, doctors, friends and caregivers for all of their care and support.
A Celebration of Heather’s Life will be held at Westside King’s Church (3939 69 Street SW) Wednesday July 4, 2018 at 12:00 noon, with a light lunch to follow.
In lieu of flowers, family and friends are encouraged to make a memorial donation to The Tom Baker Cancer Centre or the GoFundMe for Tracey Short.
