It is with undeniable sadness that we announce the passing of Hilda on Tuesday, May 22, 2018. Hilda will be remembered with immeasurable love by her son Kevin; her daughter Catharine (Corbin) Fair and her beloved grandchildren Lisa, Holly, Eric and Colin. Also left behind are her sisters Christine (Joe) Wagner, Mathilda (Joe) Skarra, Mildred Vickaryous; her sisters-in-law Anne Rothenburger and Kerry Klemmer and many nieces and nephews, including niece Suzanne (Dale) Komili and nephew Denis Komili. Hilda was predeceased by her cherished husband Walter; her parents Henry and Katherine Rothenburger; her brothers John, August, Walter, George and Ernest; her sister Marjorie Komili; her brothers-in-law Erick Klemmer, Eddie Lantz and Lawrence Vickaryous; her sisters-in-law Erika Schmidt, Eleanore Lantz and Martha Rothenburger.

Viewing for those wishing to see Hilda one last time will take place at Choice Memorial (105-4715 13 Street NE) on Friday, June 1, 2018 from 10:00 am - 11:00 am (family only) and 11:00 am - 12:00 pm (cherished friends and public). Burial to follow at 2:00 pm at Union Cemetery. Hilda’s Memorial Service will be held at Shepherd King Lutheran Church (804-75 Ave SW) on Saturday, June 2, 2018 at 10:30 am.
