Obituary for Ronald Lauralle Armstrong

Ronald L. Armstrong
August 21, 1932 - May 28, 2018

Ronald L. Armstrong passed away on Monday, May 28, 2018 at the age of 85.

Ron will be lovingly remembered by his wife Sandy; his children Michelle and Justin; and by his wonderful grandchildren, whom he absolutely adored; Jesse, Jasmine and Saya. Ron and Sandy celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary last June with family and great friends who will all miss him dearly.

Ron used to joke he was born in the "White House" on the farm, near Millet, Alberta. He had two brothers, Ken and Lea, and one sister, Tammy. He spent his childhood plowing the fields, trapping for food and pelts for the family, and looking out for his younger siblings. Ron grew up fast but never grew old.

At age 21, Ron took over the family garage and relocated it to Millet after his father died, and made it into a very successful business with his brother Ken. Ron badly injured his back and was drastically helped by chiropractic, so decided he had to help others in the same way. He attended chiropractic college in Toronto in 1964, and it was there that he met his future wife, Sandy who he married in 1967. After graduating from chiropractic college in 1971, Ron and Sandy took nine months to drive to the tip of South America in his favorite Citroen car. After this trip they moved to Alberta where they set up practice. He practiced chiropractic in Alberta for more than 40 years.

Ron has always been active in business, philosophy, and service to life. He had the secret of healing and shared his knowledge with all who were interested. He was also dedicated to a teaching of a higher life. For this and so many other reasons, he will be forever remembered with love and gratitude.
