Charles Rex "Bud" Jackson passed away on Monday, May 20, 2018 at the age of 86. Bud was born in Dalroy, AB on July 3, 1931 to Alonzo and Gladys Jackson. He is survived by his loving wife Norma Jackson; daughter Sandy Lynn Jackson; brothers Ed, Jim and Clay; sister Alana; his favourite cat Emma; and many members of his extended family. Bud was predeceased by his parents; brother Brent; and sister Daisy Terneiden.

Bud began his lengthy Canadian Forces career as a boy soldier in 1947. Later, as a Special Investigator, he served in numerous postings in Canada and abroad. Following retirement from military service in 1973, Bud owned and operated various business enterprises in Calgary. A self-starter and hard worker, Bud was handy with tools and enjoyed woodworking.

Bud was an avid golfer after learning the game in his early teens. Bud and Norma were original members of Pinebrook Golf and Country Club where Bud enjoyed the camaraderie of many friends over the years. He and Norma also enjoyed travelling and challenging new courses.
