Obituary for Darcy Edward Kehoe

Darcy Edward Kehoe
Darcy Kehoe
January 11th, 1985 - Monday, May 14th, 2018

The passing of Darcy Kehoe occurred on May 14, 2018, in Calgary, Alberta at the age of 33.

Born January 11, 1985, in Calgary, Alberta, Darcy was the only son of Jennifer Poore-Kehoe of Fredericton, NB and Michael Kehoe of Calgary, AB. In addition to his parents, he is survived by "his girls;” sister Courtney Kehoe (John Molnar), his "baby toes" niece Peyton Kehoe of Fredericton, and his Queen, Amy Foote of Grand Prairie, AB. Along with his immediate family, Darcy leaves behind many aunts, uncles, and cousins whom he loved fiercely. He will also be missed by his chosen brothers Patrick Spencer and Tyler Kendrick.

Darcy was predeceased by his paternal grandparents Edward and Margaret "Peggy" (Kelly) Kehoe, his maternal grandparents Charles "Buster" and Eileen (Estabrooks) Poore, and his chosen brother James Miller.

Darcy spent most of his childhood and teen years growing up in Fredericton, NB where he made many lifelong friends. His adult years were spent between Fredericton and Alberta, and he made many more friends along his journeys. He cared about all of these friends deeply, even when he didn't show it. Darcy had a tough, tattooed exterior and attitude, but inside he was a not-so-secret softy with a heart of gold. He enjoyed being around people and making them laugh, but he also liked to be left alone to listen to his music.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Darcy's honor to The Canadian Mental Health Association, Addiction Services, or a charity of the donor's choice.

A Celebration of Life will be held in Fredericton, NB when arrangements have been completed. Darcy will always be remembered for his soft heart, bad attitude, and his incredible ability to make everyone laugh.
