Obituary for Christopher Nelson Reid

Christopher Nelson Reid
Christopher Nelson Reid
July 17, 1990 – April 30, 2018

Chris, beloved son of Barbara and Kevin, both of Calgary, passed away April 30, 2018.
Chris lit up a room and loved to be with people, laughing, and joking, bringing a smile to all who knew him.

Chris was a rock for anyone who needed it, and was able to see the silver lining in any situation. He was a loving, caring soul and holds a special place in people’s hearts.

Chris was overcoming challenges in his life, and was on the path to success. He had a job he enjoyed, and an apartment he was so very proud of. He loved playing vinyl records with friends, walking in the mountains with his girlfriend and spending time with family.

Chris leaves behind the love of his life, Caitlin, his grandmothers, many aunts, uncles and cousins, younger sister, step-brother and step-sister.

He will be so missed by all who knew and loved him.

If so desired, in lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the SPCA of Calgary, in remembrance of Chris’ love of animals.
