Condolence: Hi Everyone,

I remember Ed's welcoming, pleasant and encouraging ways, and the willingness to either offer a ride home to someone or find a ride for them. My heart goes out to you all in your loss, and a special prayer to find peace and be able to just let out your tears and sorrow, and do "whatever you want" for awhile, so long as God approves. I remember you Lynn in Pioneer Girls, and your desire to want God's will for your life, and to be able to make the right decision - an influence from a good Father.

As a young boy attending services with my dad, I always felt that Ed saw me and was genuinely interested in me. And over the years, he unknowingly showed me what Jesus was like--kind, gentle, strong and faithful. My sincere condolences to your family as you grieve his passing.

Condolence: I just learned of the passing of Mr. Bunn. I am so sorry at your loss. While there is comfort in that he is in the presence of his Lord, it still is painful to lose a dear one. After having just lost my own father, I know how hard it is. I will pray for you all.

While I was a teenager and young man at Bethel. Mr. Bunn was always a kind, friendly man who treated me generously and always with a smile. He was very much a quality person, and there is no better evidence than his children, in whom those qualities have been instilled.

While it has been many years since I last lived in Calgary, I still look fondly on the special people who have influenced and shaped me. I count the Bunns amongst them.
