Condolence: I am so sorry to hear of Toni's passing. We were colleagues for the entire time she was at the U of L and in the Faculty of Management/Dhillon School of Business. Her contributions as a Professor and Teacher in Accounting and as Dean were significant and contributed to where we are today as a School. To Toni's family, you are in our thoughts and prayers. Take care, Bob Boudreau

Condolence: I had the privilege of knowing Toni as we prepared for and wrote our CA Uniform Final Examinations in 1981. Toni was a great friend and inspiration. Accounting may seem boring and dull to the uninitiated but Toni was neither. She was very insightful, knowledgeable and above all else extremely ethical. The accounting world in particular and the world in general has lost a stellar individual and role model.

Condolence: I’ve known Toni for approximately 25 years where we initially met at conferences. She was a wonderful person. Always willing to help and a consummate professional, she was my trusted ally, confidante and go to person when I assumed the position as Dean in 2005. I came to like her sense of humor very much. Toni cared deeply about her students, colleagues and the U of L at large, and gave them her very best. She loved the study of accounting and was a masterful, caring teacher. It is not an overstatement to say that she had a tremendous impact on many of her students. My sincere condolences to the family.

Condolence: I am deeply sorry to hear of Toni’s passing. She was a friend and colleague at the University, and I very much appreciated her advice and clear thinking as well as her kindness and great sense of humour. She made significant contributions to the accounting profession at the national level with her involvement in professional exam development, and to the University with the instrumental role she played in helping secure funding for the new Management building and in her many years as Associate Dean. She positively influenced the development of many students into accounting professionals, and loved her role as an educator. We had a lot of fun taking our puppies for training and play dates together, as well as various social outings. My sincerest condolences on your loss.

Condolence: Toni was a wonderful colleague to work with. She was a straight talker, always spoke out in the interests of the community. I remembered vividly how she invited us to think about who we were and what differences we could make as a faculty. Toni cared a lot about others. When we met in office, hall way, and council meetings, she always first asked about the wellbeing of you and your family. With a heavy heart, I pray for the eternal repose of one who was a woman of distinguished humanity!

Condolence: We have many fond memories of Toni and her family. We enjoyed being neighbours and the many camping trips with the Nelson's in our trailers. Toni was an amazing cook and her Jumbo Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookie recipe is still a family favorite of ours.

Condolence: Toni had a gentleness to her... and an absolute sense of fairness that guided all her decisions. After she retired, I would see her at the doggie daycare from time to time and she would always have a smile. My heart goes out to her family. We were all blessed to know her.

Condolence: Toni was a colleague of mine, as well as our Acting Dean at the University of Lethbridge. She was so gracious and one of the good ones. She was always open to talk with me and provided some guidance to me when my wife was going through a major health issue. I really enjoyed her. Sorry to hear about her passing.
