Victoria "Vicki" Engel (Scheuerman)
April 8th, 1943 - Tuesday, April 3rd, 2018

Vicki Engel, beloved wife of Dave for 51 years, passed away on Tuesday, April 3rd, 2018 at the age of 74. Vicki was predeceased by her nephew Jonathan Shem Layton in 1979; mother Esther Scheuerman (Schimpf) in 1982; and father Victor Scheuerman in 2006.

Born at the Grace Hospital in Calgary, AB in 1943, Vicki was the eldest of 7 children. She is survived by siblings Marg (Bob) Layton, Linda (Gerry Belyk), Sandy (Bob) Matthews, Hugh (Kathryn) Scheuerman, Wendy(Ron) Tippett, and Bruce Scheuerman.

Vicki graduated from the Holy Cross School of Nursing in October of 1965, and married husband Dave on May 21, 1966.

Vicki will be dearly missed by her children Schari (Barry), Michael, Cindy (Randy); grandchildren Brett, Dallas, Deric, Brenna, Robin, Cody and Chase; and great-granddaughter Kennedy. Vicki loved to play the piano, she loved to care for the roses that she and Dave planted in the back yard at their Riverbend home, and she loved bunnies.

Memorial service will be held at Fairview Baptist Church 230-78 Ave SE, Calgary AB Saturday April 21, 2018 at 10:30 am

Interment in Okotoks Cemetery at a later date.
