August 28th, 1916 - March 20th, 2018
Anderus Issavi was born on August 28, 1916 in the city of Urmia, Iran. He spent his childhood in Urmia with his parents, two brothers, and three sisters. He was born in a kind, generous, and Christian family. He always followed Jesus by reading and living his life the way a Christian would want to live. One of his favourite games he used to love was backgammon. He was a person with an open heart and smile on his face. In 1991 he and his family moved to Canada after spending three years in Greece. He lived his life always by loving his family and people around him. In 2016 Andreus and his wife moved to Alberta to be closer to the family members. He passed away on March 20, 2018 at 101 years of age, leaving behind a wife, two sons, two daughters, six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
May God rest his soul in peace.
Funeral Service will be held at First Evangelical Free Church (732-55 Avenue SW) on Monday, March 26, 2018 at 1:00 pm. Graveside Service to follow at Airdrie Cemetery.
