The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Steven Jackson can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Memories Are Everlasting

I had the opportunity in meeting Steven 20-years ago; he became a very prominent person in my life who helped me see life in a different persepective.  We worked side-by-side and shared many jokes, with much laughter, and also enjoyed watching sports such as hockey and boxing.

He achieved more in his short life-time than the ordinary person.  Starting out in Calgary, Alberta in 1982 at the age of 17 years, Steven worked for Acme Roofing before moving on to Qualico Development, where he delivered cabinets for approximately a year.  He then moved to an appliance repair shop for another year, and on to Barber Industries as a Helper in the Shop.  Barber Industries was eventually bought out by Foremost Industries, the company where Steven had the opportunity to attend S.A.I.T on four different occasions.  After such time, he received his "Manual Journeyman Machinist" certificate, which he worked at for 32-years and loved his job immensely.

Steven will be sadly missed by all who knew him, that words could never explain.
