Obituary for Carol Faye Dorothy Levasseur

Carol Faye Dorothy Levasseur
Carol Levasseur
September 20, 1951 - Monday, February 12, 2018

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Carol Faye Dorothy Levasseur. Carol passed away on Sunday, February 11, 2018, in Calgary, Alberta at the age of 66.

Carol was born at Flin Flon, Manitoba on September 20, 1951, to Raymond and Myrtle Levassuer and has lived throughout western Canada during her life, eventually settling in Airdrie, Alberta.

Carol is survived by her two children Justin and Tara; her siblings Elaine, Edward, Jim, Lloyd and Yvonne; and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, and friends. She also leaves behind her two beloved pets Mocha and Chirpy.

Carol was a talented painter, an avid gardener (roses being her favourite flower), and she also had a natural affinity with animals; many will remember her numerous and varied pets over the years, including several dogs, ferrets, birds, and fish. Carol was a kind and gentle soul who lived a quiet and humble life and valued her family and friends (and pets) above everything else. She will be missed by all who were blessed to know her.
