Eric Hansen
May 4th, 1949 - February 10th, 2018

Eric Jack Gordon Hansen of Surrey B.C Passed away peacefully in his sleep on Sat Feb 10, 2017 in Calgary, AB.
The funeral service will be held at the Baptist Church in Claresholm, AB on Saturday, February 24, 2018 at 1:00 pm.

Eric had a lengthy battle with strokes and heart attacks the last six months of his life. Eric was a husband to Rita Hansen for 40 years. He was a father to two children Kim (Jamey) and Bill (Jenny), He had two grand children Kylie and Evan as well as two step grand children Logan and Alex. Eric also has a surviving sister Eleanor (Ken) and is preceded by his Dad and Mom (Robert and Evelyn).

Eric worked as a mechanic and Jack of all trades kind of guy. He loved restoring cars and going on car cruises. Eric was a hard-working humorous family man who loved and cared for his friends and family.

We want to thank the staff at the Peter Lougheed Hospital, The Claresholm Hospital and South Wood Care Centre for all the care and love you gave to Eric in the last few months of his life.
