March 4, 1945 - January 17, 2018

Elsie "Faye" Plett (Wallis, nee Duncan) passed suddenly into the presence of her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at the age of 72 years. Faye was born March 4, 1945 to Stella and Stirling Wallis and grew up on a farm in D'Arcy, Saskatchewan. Faye took her nursing at Regina General and upon graduation moved to Edmonton. Faye loved to travel, and while in Britain met Mike Duncan, whom she married in Saskatoon in 1971. They moved to Manitoba with their 2 sons, Ian and Keith. They lost Mike to a brain aneurysm in 1990. After 3 years, Faye found love again with Tim Plett, whom she married November 27, 1993 and with whom she spent the remainder of her life. They lived in Lorette, Manitoba until moving to Turner Valley, Alberta in September 1997.

Faye was predeceased by her parents, Mike Duncan, and brother Guy. She is further survived by her sisters Ruth (Glen), Alene (Dwayne), Delia (Stuart); brother Don (Marian). Faye leaves to cherish her memory, husband Tim of 24 years, sons Ian (Greta) and Keith (Christine), and grandchildren (Makenna and Kinsey; Natalie, Braden and Liam), as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Faye was full of life and energy. She was loved for her abundant joy, contagious enthusiasm, hugs and her entrepreneurial spirit.

The Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, January 29, 2018 at Southview Alliance Church (20200 Walden Blvd SE, Calgary).
